InternetSpeedway – Don’t!

InternetSpeedway – Don’t! do it.

InternetSpeedway – Don’t! believe their slick presentation. The main markets for a site like this are people who are looking for someone to teach them how to build a business on the internet. InternetSpeedway only succeeds as it captures the attention of those who don’t know about or understand the other services that are available today. I fell into that category. InternetSpeedway – Don’t! perform.

InternetSpeedway – Don’t! even try their “Free Trial” period. That is the process they use to bill you. To sign up for the “Free Trial” they request your credit card method of payment. When you give it to them, just remember, they will use it. I called during the “Free Trial” period to cancel my membership and thought I got across to them that I wanted to cancel. Their run around hard sell conversation I got was frustrating, but I was sure I got my point across. A week later when I called to make sure the account was cancelled and referred to the previous call, they said they went back and referenced that call and there was no instruction to cancel the membership. So, this my second call, I told them again I wanted to cancel, this was still during the free trial period. I was told it would be taken care of. Well a couple weeks later when other bills were showing up I called again and again they told me I had not cancelled, but now they were due one payment. Now it was going to cost me. I was to pay the single payment or they would continue to bill me and ultimately be billed for the entire amount of close to $300. So I put money into a temporary credit card account and paid the one month bill, then I closed that account. Then I did get a statement saying that the InternetSpeedway account was closed.

InternetSpeedway – Don’t! expect them to teach you anything worth your time to learn. They will provide you a mediocre web site, with all the buttons. They will give you links to all kinds of service providers, who happily charge for their service, and they will get your site listed in a bunch of SearchEngines that are some where about worthless to a new player in internet business. It was a week or so after I thought I had canceled that the bills for other service providers started coming in. No, the marketing services, listing services, shopping cart service are not included with InternetSpeedway price. As you go through the process of setting up your web site business in the InternetSpeedway system you need to sign up to the miscellaneous services that it takes to run a web based business. These are all extra to the hundreds of dollars that Internetspeedway charges. Many of these services can be found free on other eCommerce programs or at least much discounted.

InternetSpeedway – Don’t! spend your time on their web development because the listing services that they use is not listing on the three main listing services, Google, Yahoo, MSN. If you are new to internet business, eCommerce, and your site is not listed on one of those SearchEngines, then you simply are not much better then not being listed at all. It goes back to what they teach you and what price are you paying for that teaching. There are people who really do enjoy helping people get started in internet business, and InternetSpeedway is not one of them.

InternetSpeedway – Don’t! look for their free lessons. The free material they provide is not developed enough to make a good eCommerce blog site. It is a kind of Catch-22 thing. The material is not developed enough for the beginner to get the step-by-step ideas needed to succeed, and they are informative enough for the experienced but they don’t need it. They sell many good products from their “drop-ship” warehouse but what they sell is not worth buying at their price. Did you know that there are very developed eCommerce sites that are there to help beginners for the great price of FREE. InternetSpeedway is not one of them.

InternetSpeedway – Don’t! expect them to easily cancel your account when you call and request it. If you make the mistake and take the chance to try out their “Free Trail” period, don’t wait to the last day to cancel. What you can expect are put offs, hard sells, second offers, none of which improves a bad program in any way. And finally expect to get a bill for the first month.

InternetSpeedway – Don’t! expect good customer service. They way over promise their service. They don’t even try to perform as their ads lead you to believe they will. They are after the newbie to internet business. They expect that you don’t know you can get your basic web training for FREE by experienced people who really do enjoy helping you succeed. They expect that you don’t know that even the sites are free, and newsletters are free and lots of ebooks and services are free.

InternetSpeedway – Don’t! do it.
